The Building
The Halfmoon Building, designed by the award winning team at Wilson Architecture, is a beautiful contemporary building which occupies a pivotal corner on Lavitt’s Quay and the entire Halfmoon Street Block.
The Building extents to a total of 115,000 Sq. Ft with 55,000 Sq. Ft of Grade A office space and 60,000 Sq. Ft of prime retail space.
With floor-to-ceiling glazing on the northern, eastern, and southern elevations, the building design provides for a distinctive curved façade along Halfmoon Street, creating a striking architectural presence that maximises natural light, enhances panoramic views, and contributes a dynamic new landmark to Cork’s cityscape.
The building was originally developed in 2011 and was acquired by JCD Group in November 2025, following which it has undergone an extensive upgrade programme, including significant sustainability improvements to achieve an impressive BER A3 rating.

The Halfmoon Building provides a total of 55,000 sq. ft and has the largest office floor plate in Cork’s traditional CBD, with floors of up to 18,500 sq. ft., offering exceptional flexibility to accommodate a wide range of occupier requirements.
